Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire KS1 pupils
* Provide a well-rounded curriculum that supports both academic and personal development
* Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) to ensure strong progress and achievement
* Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment where every child can reach their potential
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils' educational experiences
* Participate in whole-school activities, extra-curricular programs, and staff meetings
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy
* Ability to differentiate teaching to support a diverse range of learners
* Passion for fostering confidence, resilience, and a love for learning in children
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Ability to provide two years' worth of references
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community
