This newly established role calls for someone with a profound understanding of partnership accounting. Ideally, you will be tax-qualified with rich experience in partnership taxation. The role will work across Partnership Accounting and the Partnership Tax function, and you will be responsible for guiding and inspiring a skilled team, including the Partnership Accountant and Partnership Tax Accountant. What you'll do: Develop a sound robust system around Partnership reporting globally; Assist in queries on drawings, capital and tax globally Ensure all the firm's tax and reporting obligations are met (eg STBVA, PSA etc) Review tax computations for partnerships and LLPs within the group, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Organise and compile information for personal tax reliefs. Assist in the bi-annual partners' tax payments process, working with external tax advisors to ensure smooth transactions. Assist/Review partners' tax reserves, including DTR and equalisation Support the firm's cash flow forecasting related to tax payments. Review annual tax and statutory compliance deadlines with other tax advisors/accountants to maintain an accurate compliance calendar. Prepare and periodically review process notes, identifying areas for improvement in tax processes. Serve as a key contact for HMRC, partners, external tax advisors, and partners’ accountants on tax matters. Provide support in the absence of the Head of Tax Undertake ad hoc projects related to the firm's and partners' tax affairs. Advise on ad hoc tax matters such as withholding tax and PE risks Coordinate with the firm's global accounting functions and external tax advisers Develop the team who work in London. Please note that regular travel to our London office will be required for this role. What you'll need to succeed CTA or ATT qualified with a background in partnership or personal tax Confident in providing tax compliance services within a professional services or financial services environment You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
