We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an exceptional and experienced Senior Nurse to join the leadership team in theMedicineDivision, at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
Our Division of Medicine is a large and diverse Division consisting of Front Door Services, General Internal Medicine, Diagnostics, Medical Specialties, Pharmacy and Bereavement Services.
We are looking for a dynamic,drivenand passionate registerednurse with experience of leading acute care and emergency care. A professional background in medicine would beadvantageous, but is not essential, although you will need to develop your knowledge in the clinical services provided by the Division quickly. You will have a proventrack recordof successfully leading clinical teams, managingchangeand putting safety, quality and patient experience at the heart of everything you do.
To provide professional and clinical leadership to nurses within the division, acting as a role model both in the division and across the trust, ensuring high performance in managerial and clinical practice is both developed andmaintained. Leading and contributing to an effective quality improvement work programme as part of the divisional plan and corporate nursing agenda.
Your leadership skills will beutilisedthroughout changesin the near future, shaping longer term plans and continuing to support the delivery of high-quality nursing care across a variety of teams
Our modern hospital is in Swindon, Wiltshire and we also provide services in primary care and community settings. On the edge of the Cotswolds, there is much to offer in the area with close links to London and Bristol and a huge varietyof local villages and towns including Cirencester and Marlborough.
