An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Passive Fire Protection team as a Fire Compartmentation Surveyor working at our Leeds office. Salary: Circa £45,000 company car or car allowance Role responsibilities Conducting thorough fire compartmentation surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial. Identifying and assessing fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations. Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards. Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions. Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes. About you Experience in compartmentation surveying is essential for this role. Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, etc.). Familiar with survey recording software/apps/ systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster etc. Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.
