We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker/Health Care Assistant to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced neurological impairments due to injury or illness. As a Support Worker/Health Care Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical psychologists, to implement personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Your support will be instrumental in assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
Support clients in rehabilitation exercises and activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
Provide psychological and emotional support, fostering a positive environment to encourage recovery.
Monitor and record clients' progress and any changes in their condition, reporting to the healthcare team as needed.
Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by following health and safety regulations and protocols.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of each client's progress and care provided.
Requirements
Previous experience in a caregiving or support role, preferably in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in health care, social care, or similar fields.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to care and rehabilitation.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and support group dynamics.
Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Start Time: 07:30
End Time: 20:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
Location: Wishaw, North Lanarkshire
