The Systems Analyst will support the Business Improvement Department in optimizing business processes, enhancing digital transformation initiatives, and maintaining the integrity of data systems. Working closely with the existing IT Systems Analyst, the role will involve a blend of technical and analytical responsibilities, focusing on the development, maintenance, and support of various IT systems and automation solutions. This position will contribute to the company’s overall efficiency and strategic growth by supporting automation, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Process Automation: Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of automated business processes using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Optimize business processes: Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and propose automation solutions to improve performance and productivity.
* Systems Integration & Development: Support the integration of multiple business systems using APIs and other integration tools. Provide hands-on support in customizing and maintaining the company's CRM platform (Salesforce) and other business systems.
* Data Management & Analysis: Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate and actionable data insights for business stakeholders. Contribute to data preparation and transformation efforts using tools like Power Query, SQL, and DAX for various reporting and analytical requirements.
* Ensure data integrity: Implement data validation rules and error handling mechanisms to maintain data quality and consistency across integrated systems.
* SharePoint Administration: Support the management and optimization of SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to enhance collaboration and document management within the organization.
* Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various IT systems and applications, working with end-users to resolve issues and ensure seamless operation. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
* AI and Emerging Technology Adoption: Assist in exploring the use of emerging technologies such as AI models, Microsoft Copilot, and IoT solutions to drive innovation and digital transformation.
* Training and End-User Support: Provide training and guidance to end-users on new technologies, systems, and applications to ensure effective adoption and utilization.
* Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with other teams and departments to identify opportunities for business process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department by providing input on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) by setting high personal standards, reporting accidents and near misses, actively participating in HSEQ training and communication, and taking accountability for stopping any job that is perceived to be unsafe or not adhering to MDL standards and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a related technical role.
* Hands-on experience in managing and customizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
* Proven experience in working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for business process automation and data visualization.
* Experience in SharePoint administration and customization to enhance collaboration and document management.
Required Skills:
* Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
* Skilled in developing data visualizations and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
* Familiarity with SQL, Power Query, DAX, Python, and Visual Basic for data manipulation and transformation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving business processes and system functionality.
* Knowledge of API integration and systems interoperability.
* Ability to manage and support various CRM systems such as Salesforce to optimize customer relationship management processes.
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with Salesforce development, including Apex and Visualforce.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and proficiency in using PySpark (Python) for data transformation and analytics.
* Experience with AI tools and implementing custom AI models to drive innovation and support digital transformation initiatives.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and its application in enhancing business operations.
* Strong understanding of IoT solutions and their integration with existing business systems for data-driven decision-making.
