Are you a driven and experienced finance professional seeking your next challenge? Our client, a well-established and reputable organisation, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will play a critical role in financial operations, reporting, and compliance.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the financial management and statutory reporting for the organisation and its affiliates. You will lead financial operations, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, tax audits, and returns, including Corporation Tax, payroll taxes, and VAT.
* Develop and streamline procedures for tax provisions and budgets.
* Manage the monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance reporting.
* Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee invoice authorisation and payment processes.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Supervise, train, and develop finance staff as required.
Your Profile
* A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial management (a prior background within an accountancy practice would be desirable)
* Minimum of 2 years in team supervision/manager role
* Expertise in statutory reporting, IFRS, tax accounting, and multi-currency transactions.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple demands, and meet deadlines.
