Part time Dental Receptionist
Job description
Ideally candidate should have some experience in customer service preferably within the health care sector and be available to work Wednesdays and Fridays 8am to 5.30pm.
1. To Provide, assistance and act as a professional point of contact for patients entering the Practice.
2. To ensure prompt and accurate completion or practice paperwork as required.
3. Maintain practice computer records in relation to patient records, ensuring that information is entered accurately and efficiently.
4. To ensure that reception is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
5. To ensure that the telephone is answered promptly, courteously and actions requests promptly.
6. To take all types of payment and complete the banking process.
7. To maintain confidentiality of patient records, practice communications and commercially sensitive information.
8. To maintain high standards of conduct, motivation and support other members of the practice team.
9. To manage the appointment diary.
10. Adhere to Practice procedures relating to proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
11. To adhere to the Practice Manuals
12. To manage the SMS system
13. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training as provided by the Practice or elsewhere subject to approval
14. Successful candidate if interested may be given training in dental nursing and will be required to enrol in a dental nursing training programmed towards qualification.
