The Opportunity:
Our Client; a well-recognised and respected Materials Handling company who are among the world's largest suppliers of Automated Warehouse and Materials Handling solutions are now actively seeking an experienced Office Administrator on a part-time contract basis in Market Drayton, Shropshire.
This position would see you performing Administration duties on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week from 10-00am – 2-00pm (12 hours per week). The initial duration of this contract is expected to be at least 6 months, but there is a possibility that this may see extension.
The role
As the Office Administrator for the Construction Site, your task is to provide proactive administrative support, working as part of a team or on own your initiative. You will have the ability to manage your work without needing to refer to others for most of your time. In order to flexibly use resource you may be given the opportunity to work in different areas.
You will be able to develop a wide range of skills, both technical and administrative, and may also have the opportunity to lead on specific tasks within a team.
Your duties and responsibilities will be Ensure all general filing for site is organised and maintained. Holiday/absence records – maintain planner, updating records with approved holiday requests and absences. Assist the shift teams in the accurate control of spares. Control and order staff Uniform requirements. Control and order levels of spares, tools, consumables & other “non spares.” Book training courses and maintain records of mandatory training undertaken. Control bookings for car hire and hotel for site. Collate overtime information onto time-sheets for site. Update HR department with employee detail changes as required. Distribute and maintain sign-offs for all relevant documentation. Ensure that H&S noticeboard is kept up to date. Maintain key cabinet, contents and records.You will have the following qualifications & experience Should ideally be educated to ‘O’ level, GCSE or NVQ 3 standard or equivalent, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered. Should be a skilled and experienced Office Administrator, who is capable of performing general office duties. You will have ideally gained similar Office Administration experiences working in a manufacturing, operational, construction, or project management environment. You must be comfortable liaising with Internal and External bodies as and when required. You should be competent in using Microsoft Office packages. Strong communication skills are needed. You should be self-driven and have the ability to work autonomously. You will be a team Player, who is supportive and collaborative.It’s great if you also have the following Basic understanding of Time and Attendance software systems (preferable). Experience of CMMS systems (preferable).This position is available with immediate effect.
