Job Description:
Experienced editor/writer required to produce technical reports, adverts, and content for digital communications. The ideal candidate will have qualifications (ideally BA & MA) and commercial experience in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other copy creation, coordination, and management roles, along with knowledge of the oil & gas industry. You will be responsible for delivering written content for internal and external channels promoting strategic narratives highlighting my clients' services, research, technology, or insight in the Oil & Gas domain to the global exploration & production (E&P) market. This role will be instrumental in producing, coordinating, and delivering a variety of marketing materials and communications leveraging modern best practice marketing techniques.
Responsibilities:
1. Collect requirements from stakeholders to produce brochures, flyers, web content, and other marketing communication materials.
2. Produce final copy for internal and external channels from technical drafts and notes or stakeholders.
3. Generate ideas for new content, improving existing content and optimizing the external utilization of content (e.g., GA, SEO, web content audit, participation at relevant events, customer presentations, global webcasts, etc.).
Skills:
1. Strong writing and editing skills.
2. Strong software skills in a Windows environment using Microsoft Office products.
3. Intermediate software skills in Adobe products such as Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
4. Good understanding of the environmental industry.
