Job Title Global Instructional Designer Job Description This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective digital learning experiences to grow Customer Service Manager and Colleague skills and expertise across all regions (North America, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain & Portugal). The primary objective is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and captivating manner. You will be responsible for designing and developing instructional materials, incorporating instructional design principles and technologies. Your expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. Alongside instructional design, you will also deliver and facilitate training either directly to colleagues or through train the trainer with regional training teams. This role will require occasional travel to regions to support execution of global learning programmes. Ultimately, your role will contribute to the success of learners by fostering their growth and development through well-designed and impactful programs. In FY25 you will be focused on several key initiatives including the Driving High Performance Programme, Customer Services Onboarding, soft skills for Customer Service Colleagues and supporting the implementation of Quizzical. You will also support the Global Coaching and QM programmes. Key Responsibilities Creation of digital content: • Identify global learning interventions from data and/or learning platforms e.g. Quizzical and create digital content to address needs • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer of knowledge. • Innovative and disruptive to learning norms looking for new technology and methods (e.g., micro-learning, podcasts etc.) • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs. • Apply learning design theories, practice, and methods to create impactful content. • Maintain Global CS Learning content on The Hive • Manage the Global CS Learning podcast • Create learning material/media (e.g., audio, video, simulations, games etc.) • Deliver content (e.g., workshops, training, webinars, train the trainers etc.) • Liaising with regional training teams and resource teams to determine training needs and schedule training sessions. • Support Learning needs analysis through utilising Quizzical to review questions and content to accurately assess learner's performance.
