As a Leisure Club Assistant, you will be expected to support the team with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the facilities. You will supervise users of the facilities and provide assistance to guests. Key Responsibilities of the role: Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Maintain the fitness center cleanliness and supply, including wiping down machines, taking towels to laundry and removing rubbish. Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in recreation area. A relevant gym or training qualification is desirable An active pool responder or lifeguard qualification is desirable Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures. Distribute lockers and towels to guests. Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members. Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Requirements of the role: To be passionate about delivering great service and be guest focused Previous experience in a guest facing role A passion for spa and wellness Attention to details and ability to multitask duties Knowledge of spa booking systems preferred but not necessary Flexibility to work varied hours to include evenings and weekends Experience with handling guests queries and complaints To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team
