More detail about the role You will be employed as a Band 3 Physiologist Assistant/Healthcare Science Assistant Higher Level, and enrol onto the fully funded Respiratory & Sleep Healthcare Science Training Programme. You will develop your knowledge and skills via both work-based and academic learning, and be released for 20% of your contracted hours (typically 1day/week) to undertake your academic studies with the Healthcare Science Training Provider. Following attainment of the Level 4 qualification there is potential to enrol into the second year of the Level 6 (degree level) Healthcare Science Practitioner programme, progressing to Band 5/6 Physiologist/Senior Physiologist posts.
