We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to work with our established Project Manager to drive forward the delivery of our Rail Power & Energy Sector works across the Southern area. What You’ll Bring:
* Safety First Culture.
* Electrical qualifications – ideally 18th Edition.
* PTS certification and SMSTS.
* Substation access (Level C or D preferred).
* Experience with electrical installations, including minor civils cabling route containment.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Strong background & experience in electrical construction engineering (degree or HNC/HND preferred).
* Experience in the rail power and/or energy sectors.
* Can demonstrate a proven track record of safe, quality and on time delivery.
What you will work on:
· Energy Sector – RTU Installations
· Rail Power - AC/DC Maintenance Contract
· Rail Power - Sub Station Installations
What You’ll Do:
* Collaborate with the Project Manager, in house installation teams & approved suppliers to deliver the project portfolio.
· Maximise project resources, including labour, plant, and transport, for peak productivity.
* Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements in cost and programming
* Monitor and oversee the site supervision carrying out the construction and installation works, ensuring safety, quality, in compliance with the designs and industry standards.
* Manage client relationships and ensure works meet contract requirements, timelines, and budgets.
* Review and approve documentation, including construction programmes, method statements, and ITPs.
* Manage your team, project resources, and finances to stay within budget and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with company health & safety policies, as well as QUENSH standards.
