The position is being offered by the prestigious Home Dining Restaurant, a collect & go and home delivery concept of restaurant quality Indian cuisine and other popular food styles, based in Falkirk. The role involves skillful preparation of complex Indian cuisine dishes and specialities specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff. To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements: eligibility to live and work in UK, experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Indian dishes & Specialties, technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation, industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute, previous experience of at least 3 years in this role, relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols, and resident within commutable distance of up to one hour. In addition, you should also have the following attributes: performance, achievement and results driven, have an eye for detail, able to work well with others, creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence, hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual, sound health and fitness, and FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK AT SPEED AND UNDER PRESSURE. The position offers a gross OTE salary package of circa £39,000, 28 days paid holiday, incentives, employers workplace pension, employee care and well being initiatives, and more.
