ROLE PURPOSE
The Production Test Manager will lead our test team in the development, validation and verification of electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive electronic test strategies, plans, and procedures.
* Lead the test team by managing, supporting, and evaluating performance via Lattice.
* Motivating and developing the team to achieve objectives and targets.
* Providing structure, direction and purpose.
* Oversight of all people related management such as absence and performance.
* Oversee the design and development of test systems, including hardware and software components.
* Ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results through continuous process improvement.
* Define production test requirements and validate Pickering’s new products and components.
* Collaborate with RnD, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
* Monitor and report test performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
* Manage testing schedules, resources, and budgets to meet both production and development deadlines.
Qualifications And Experience
* Higher level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Key Skills
* Proven experience in electronic test, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
* Strong knowledge of electronic test methodologies, tools, and equipment.
* Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IPC.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Understanding of High Voltage test requirement and associated regulation is desirable but not essential.
