I am Working alongside a top University in London who are seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to join their dynamic Estates Team on a six-month contract working onsite in London.
This role is crucial in delivering key projects that support the university’s strategic goals, particularly in upgrading and maintaining the campus facilities. You will work closely with senior management, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Manage and oversee multiple estates projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the university’s objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to streamline project delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance, Relaying regular updates to senior leadership.
Carrying out risk management and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven experience in project management within the estates or construction sector, ideally within higher education.
Strong understanding of building regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainability practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
Relevant qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and a degree in a related field is preferred.
