Audit Manager required. Our client is seeking an Audit Manager to join the team and work within the Dudley based team ensuring maximum efficiency is achieved on all projects whilst also taking a proactive approach in driving the team forward.
The role would mainly focus on the following duties: providing management over a portfolio of clients ensuring an excellent quality of service is provided on audits, preparing and performing them, and also managing a team of audit staff. Split of work will be 50% Audit and 50% accounts/tax/special.
You would ideally have a recognised Accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or similar.
Audit Manager Position Overview
1. Running an audit team on site.
2. Reviewing the work of the audit team.
3. Planning an audit.
4. Reviewing accounts/tax/management accounts.
5. Training staff/managing workload.
6. Being involved in special work (due diligence, forecasts, business sales/acquisitions, etc.).
7. Managing a portfolio of clients.
8. Preparation of the end of year accounts.
9. Preparing and processing financial paperwork.
Audit Manager Position Requirements
1. A recognised accountancy qualification would be advantageous.
2. Experience with the Microsoft Office package would be essential.
3. Previous Audit Senior/Supervisor/Manager experience within an Accountancy Practice would be essential.
Audit Manager Position Remuneration
1. Salary between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
2. 40 hours per week (including a 1-hour lunch break).
3. Staff can start work any time between 8 am - 10 am.
4. 25 days including a 3-day Christmas shut down + bank holidays.
