Rail – Lineside & Stations Civils Ganger / Supervisor Nationwide About The Role We have an opening in our Rail division for a Civils Ganger / Supervisor to join our Rail team. As a Civils Ganger / Supervisor you will lead a team, working safely, efficiently and to a high standard on Rail Civil Engineering Projects. Key Accountabilities: Conduct general civils work and various other tasks relative to Lineside and Station Civils, as directed by the Construction Manager, including but not limited to: Installation of TEH/DNO bases. Installation of Fencing and Handrails. Installation of Stakka Boxes and Turning Chambers. Laying and replacing Troughing routes. Installation of Buried Ducts. Installation of Retaining Walls. Installation of lineside Cables. Incident, close call, near miss reporting. The productivity of staff. The control of materials onsite. The control of plant onsite and its correct use age. Ensuring that all work is undertaken in accordance with signed AFC designs. Ensuring that the potential for design change is notified to the Construction Manager/ Site Supervisor. Maintaining photographs of all installation works pre and post works. The above list is not exhaustive, and you will occasionally be asked to undertake additional duties where it is reasonable and appropriate. Essential Skills PTS certificate Temporary Works Supervisor is an advantage First Aid Certification Experience working on rail civil engineering projects. Able to work nights, weekends and days as the programme requires. Full Clean UK driving licence. Eligibility to work within the UK Knowledge of health, safety, environmental & quality assurance, and regulations. Strong leadership skills Prepared to travel Punctual & Team player Positive, proactive, and flexible approach Self-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
