Job Summary

The CCO is responsible for developing and executing the company’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. This senior leadership role oversees sales, marketing, and customer success, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals. The CCO is a key figure in fostering strong relationships, identifying market opportunities, and steering the business towards rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and implement the organisation’s commercial strategy in line with overall business objectives.
* Align sales, marketing, and customer success functions to support consistent revenue growth and market development.
* Collaborate with the senior management team to identify and capitalise on new market opportunities.
Revenue and Growth Management
* Set revenue targets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to achieve or exceed goals.
* Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and customer needs to refine the commercial approach.
* Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and partnerships to maximise profitability.
Team Leadership
* Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
* Recruit, develop, and retain talent across all commercial roles.
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the commercial team.
Market Focus
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, prospects and customers to ensure long-term business success.
* Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
* Oversee customer satisfaction metrics and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Operational Excellence
* Establish and monitor KPIs for sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
* Ensure effective use of CRM systems and data analytics to inform decision-making.
* Optimise processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
* Previous experience in a senior leadership role, such as Head of Commercial, Head of Marketing, or similar.
* Demonstrable ability to lead and implement strategies that drive growth and innovation.
* Proven track record of managing and developing successful teams.
* Extensive experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
