Job Description: Remote Senior Counsellor/Psychotherapist (BACP Accredited) UK Nationwide – Remote working Permanent Part time – 4 days/ 32 hours (full-time hours also available) Salary – From £37,000 We make health happen: Here you'll be welcomed. How you’ll help us make health happen: You will either support referrals from our UK insurance business, providing 1-2-1 clinical practice to clients across a range of increasingly complex mental health conditions, or you will work directly with one of our corporate clients to support mental health awareness and referrals for their employees. By working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns and you will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams. This is a dual role that will involve part clinical delivery, part senior clinical support duties. Senior clinical support responsibilities will include: Delivery of training for mental health clinicians across the service (e.g., mental wellbeing practitioners and new starters) Facilitating individual and group supervision for clinicians within the team Conducting regular clinical case notes audits Carrying out appraisals and case management reviews across teams as required Creation, review, and delivery of psychoeducation material for Bupa’s corporate customers Be a point of clinical escalation and offer clinical support to all clinical staff Working independently, and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team Contribute to reviewing and implementing new process and protocols for safe and effective delivery of services Supporting recruitment and interviewing Contributing to ensure an outstanding customer experience, developing a culture that continually improves quality of services Works alongside the operational managers and clinical leads to ensure outstanding clinical quality, commercial awareness, and customer experience Continuing professional development and training in line with requirements, a minimum of 30 hours CPD per year Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role: Recognised Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification (Level 4 Counselling Diploma) or higher A post-graduate counselling qualification (e.g. MSc, PGDip) is desirable A minimum of 450 supervised counselling hours 4 years full-time post qualification counselling experience BACP Accredited membership Rich and varied experience of counselling different sectors of and clients in society Experience in working with complex cases Prior experience of working within EAP services is desirable Flexible attitude to working hours Strong IT skills – experienced MS Office packages (including preferably MS Teams) What's it like to work here?
