Do you have the drive and passion to support a fantastic unique initiative, collaborating across 3 divisions and services in the Image-Guided Interventional Service - IGIS (Interventional Radiology, Cardiology & Vascular teams)? The Operational & Performance Manager will be responsible for providing operational and performance management of the IR speciality, supporting the Radiology Service Line. They will be supporting and driving forward collaborative working across the 3 large specialties making up the Image Guided Interventional Service, striving to ensure all 3 specialties are delivering efficient ways of working in a co-located space within Imaging and across the hybrid theatres. Additional working pattern details: Cross-site working Main duties of the job Interventional Radiology - Operational delivery of the Interventional speciality - Analysis of service performance to proactively identify key strengths and understand areas requiring improvements - Line management of junior managers and team leaders - Contributing to strategic planning of the IR service, alongside the Clinical Lead and Radiology Services Manager - Accountable for delivery against key performance standards relating to IR (including DM01, 18-week RTT & 28/31/62 day cancer diagnosis Image-Guided Interventional Service (IGIS) - Working collaboratively across divisions with the Image-guided interventional service (IGIS)triumvirate to achieve the trust's 'Fit for the Future' strategic plan, and associated delivery to streamline services, achieve efficiencies, and provide the best care for our patients - Consistently strive for excellence in service development and embed innovation across the 3 specialties of IGIS to improve patient pathways - Embed and deliver a robust governance framework across the IGIS triumvirate, relevant to the shared services and estate About us We take pride in placing people at the centre of everything we do, working together as a united team.
