To provide a robust, visible, event operation, ensuring the continued growth and reputation of Alea Glasgow and providing exceptional service which will enhance the customer service experience. Sales Strategy and Management: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve targets. Handling sales calls and telephone enquiries and have accurate answers on availability and suitability. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends. Create and execute detailed sales plans, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget reviews for senior management. To create computerised records of all enquiries, bookings and events. Implement CRM systems and processes to maintain accurate customer records and improve client retention. Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, local agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth. Be Proactive in your approach – use your business development black book to bring your existing network into the space. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts and closing sales deals. To manage all incoming enquiries related to booking corporate and private events. Be pro-active in sales techniques, up selling and follow up sales leads. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral and promotional materials. Event Management Work productively with the in-site team to ensure the relationship between ops and sales is strong and delivers excellence, every time. Co-ordinate event information from the client and provide effective administrative support from the start to the finish of an event. REQUIRED SKILLS: Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. Proactive, able to work autonomously. Outstanding customer service skills. Organized with problem-solving and negotiation skills. Self-starter with commercial awareness. WORKING HOURS: Various shifts, over a minimum of 40 hours per week on a varying rota, which includes weekends with flexibility to provide service and contact at varying times depending upon the needs of the business. Hours worked beyond a normal working week will not be entitled to receive additional pay or time off in lieu with the exception of working on public holidays.
