Salary: National ranging from £51,200 - £78,700 and London from £56,400 - £86,600

The team/department
End User Compute provides change and run for a broad range of application and infrastructure services. We work in small, cross-functional, self-organising, and autonomous teams, passionate about delivering value and having fun.
What you will be doing (the role)
1. Analyzing designs to determine engineering requirements and activities. Conducting technical assessments and PoCs. Authoring and reviewing high-quality technical documentation.
2. Managing Conditional Access Policies: Implementing and maintaining conditional access policies to ensure security and compliance across the organization.
3. Creating Compliance Dashboards: Developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to monitor compliance, optimize infrastructure services, and ensure high availability.
4. Utilizing Kusto Query Language (KQL): Creating KQL queries to extract relevant data and generate visual workbooks for analysis and reporting.
5. Building and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for Azure resources, mapping dependencies to ensure accurate asset management and resource tracking.
6. Collaborating with Azure Stakeholders: Working closely with the Azure Product Architect, FinOps Analyst, and Product Owners to develop and manage Azure budgets and set up cost alerts.
7. Optimizing the Azure Platform: Continuously monitoring, improving, and optimizing the Azure platform to enhance performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Leveraging automation to enhance efficiency, speed up processes, and reduce manual intervention.
8. Collaborating with the Resiliency Team: Working with the Resiliency Team to develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery plans for Azure resources, ensuring data integrity and service continuity.

The skills and experience you will have
Minimum

* A team player, with subject matter expertise in Azure platforms, services, and engineering.
* Expertise in designing, engineering, and maintaining cloud-based solutions in Azure.
* Experience enforcing governance policies and creating comprehensive documentation to ensure platform compliance.
* Strong Azure cloud engineering experience with cloud-native services.
* Proficiency in Azure IAM, Conditional Access Policies, SAML SSO, VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure Functions, Defender for Cloud, Azure Firewall, Azure Virtual WAN, and VNet Peering. Knowledge of automation techniques and tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
* Understanding of Azure Policies and Azure Landing Zone Architecture.
* Azure certifications demonstrating in-depth expertise.
