Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings, ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies. To support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Document Controller based in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, you will assist with the day-to-day online documentation process, managing uploads and submissions across various online platforms.
What a typical day looks like:
1. Edit documentation to meet LDC requirements.
2. Liaise directly with end client Document Controllers.
3. Manage time-critical documentation independently.
4. Generate, update, and collate project documentation for reporting.
5. Copy, scan, and store documents.
6. Review and update technical documents (manuals, workflows) under team guidance.
7. Distribute project documents to internal teams.
8. File documents physically and digitally.
9. Create templates for future use.
10. Retrieve files upon request by employees and clients.
11. Manage documentation flow within the organization.
12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and agreements.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
* Clear and concise communication with LDC and team members.
* Ability to learn and manage online document platforms independently.
* Excellent PC skills, written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and initiative.
* Ability to work confidently under pressure with multiple objectives.
* High level of organization and thorough working methods.
* Some travel may be required.
