Your Impact and Responsibilities As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will be a key part of the management team, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve: Overseeing the day-to-day operation and management of warehouse colleagues Assisting the Operations Manager with daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting. Provide and maintain accurate daily information for reporting. Producing accurate and timely reports to monitor performance Working to timescales and KPIs Actively lead, motivate, and manage the performance of colleagues in line with Company procedures Full adherence to health and safety policy and standard operating procedures. Work collaboratively with all departments to provide a cohesive delivery of operational requirements. Proactively encourage a positive and constructive relationship on-site with the Union and Union representatives. Assist in employee training, development, and engagement. Knowledge and operation of WMS systems Skills and Knowledge You will have previous experience as a Warehouse Team Manager with previous experience working in a distribution centre. You will be a great leader with a sound knowledge of H&S standards in a warehouse environment and be accustomed to working towards and achieving KPIs Use common sense and is self-motivated and resilient Be a highly motivated individual with good communication skills, an excellent problem solver, a team player and a flexible approach to the role.
