Position
As our IT Business Analyst, you will lead the definition and optimisation of business processes, documenting systems requirements, and delivering change projects across the organisation. You will work closely with specialist applications and infrastructure teams to align IT solutions with business needs. In addition to core business analysis responsibilities, you will be expected to take ownership of project management aspects, ensuring successful and timely delivery of change initiatives.
Hybrid working from one of our three UK offices in Chepstow, Solihull or Andover.
Responsibilities
* Research, define and document business processes across all key areas for TXO, including finance, sales and distribution, asset recovery, and increasingly service delivery.
* Engage with stakeholders across all geographies and departments to understand functional needs. Where appropriate and value adding, map these functional needs to our core strategic systems, Sage X3 ERP, HubSpot, iTRAC, and Reversys.
* Define appropriate systems changes or alternative process optimisation work.
* Manage the end-to-end requirements gathering process, ensuring that specifications meet business goals and are aligned with stakeholder priorities.
* Lead and manage change initiatives, taking responsibility for the delivery of projects, including scoping, planning, and coordination with applications and infrastructure teams.
* Provide ongoing support for the configuration, build and optimization of systems change work in alignment with evolving business needs.
* Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
* Serve as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Support post-implementation phases, including training and troubleshooting.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within a commercial organization.
* Extensive experience of medium or large organization using a core ERP or equivalent, with a solid understanding of modelling business processes to a package solution.
* Experience in project management, with the ability to scope, plan, and drive the delivery of change projects.
* Familiarity with finance, sales and distribution, procurement processes across multi-country commercial operations.
* Independent and proactive approach to work, capable of operating effectively with limited supervision.
* Fluent English is essential, with proficiency in German, French, or Spanish being a distinct advantage.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a business-friendly manner.
* Enjoy a fast paced, high-change environment and don’t rely on structure/hierarchy to get things done.
