CMA HR Division are assisting a Public Services organisation in Portsmouth to recruit a HR Officer for a 12 month fixed term contract, based on term time working.
This is a varied role which will be reporting to the HR Manager and be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the HR team.
What will the HR Officer role involve?
Providing oversight and supervision of all HR functions.
Ensuring that mandatory training is undertaken.
Assisting with payroll, checking sickness, absences, issuing starts and leavers.
Note taking in HR meetings.
Maintaining accurate employee records and process HR documentation.
Suitable Candidate for HR Officer vacancy:
Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
Experience working within a HR team/generalist role.
Able to commence employment at short notice, although candidates on a month's notice will also be considered.

Working hours, 08.00 – 16.00 Mon-Thurs and 08.00 – 15.30 Fridays, with ½ hour unpaid lunch each day.
