About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the NHSP Academy as we embark on the significant expansion of our service.
Role summary:
The Head of Service Delivery: Academy (Education and Training), is a senior manager who oversees the modelling, planning, and delivery of high-quality education and training programmes that align with the Academy’s strategic goals and objectives.
Skills/Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the operational and educational strategies by gathering and analysing data and insights, and then modelling, planning, and delivering those plans.
2. Lead the delivery of the programmes that have been developed by the educational team.
3. Matrix-manage the education and training team with the Head of Academic Development.
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure programmes meet the needs of the organisation and its clients.
5. Work closely with the Head of Academic Development to monitor the effectiveness of education and training programs, making continuous improvements.
6. Support the Business Manager to manage the relevant pay and non-pay costs related to service delivery.
About The Candidate
7. With the Head of Academic Development, deliver high-quality education and training programmes that meet the needs of learners, clients, and stakeholders.
8. Ensure compliance with academic policies, and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations.
9. Provide effective senior management, guidance, and support to the education, training, and operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
11. With the Head of Academic Development, and the Process & Performance Manager, evaluate the impact and outcomes of education and training programs, using data and feedback to inform decision making and continuous improvement.
12. Support the Business Manager to contribute to the strategic planning and development of the education and training function, aligning with the Academy’s vision and goals.
13. Location - Milton Keynes or Manchester, this is a hybrid role and travel will be required.
