We are looking for a commercially driven B2B Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for ownership of defined customer on-boarding process and implementing process improvements. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the renewable energy market, whilst providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
As a B2B Specialist with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:
* Managing key B2B process of customer on-boarding, including data validation, upload processes, retro transfers, contested sites, tracking of onboarding dashboards, and vacant consumption sites, and transfers (including ads and alts, meter alterations, meter exchanges, tariff changes, temporary isolations, abolishments and POA relocations).
* Accurate set up of new customer records including tariff checks, product checks, credit checks, customer special requirements (life support, concessions, others) and issuing of correct welcome packs.
* Lodgement of meter and site alterations work, both prompted by electricians (seeking customer approval) and prompted by customer (and then seeking out required paperwork).
* Accurate initiation and completion of new & existing customer transfer procedures across various customer segments (mass market & commercial).
* Collation of associated paperwork that may be required for solar customers, including correspondence with channel partners and solar panel installers.
* Initiating customer NMI discovery and defined standard customer Transfers.
* Updating customer status in CRM and associated customer tracking systems.
* Initiating a range of defined CRM Workflows to communicate to customer.
* Identify issues and opportunities for system and process improvements.
You will be successful in the role if you possess:
* A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a customer facing role.
* Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
* Analytical and process focused, reliable and punctual.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and active listening skills with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders at multiple levels.
* Demonstrated experience with CRM software, general IT skills and proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
* Ability to work as part of a close-knit team in a dynamic and growing business with a strong interest in renewable energy.
* Experience within the electricity industry is preferred including understanding of the energy industry value chain.
* Experience with programming languages would be preferred.
