We are looking for an inspiring and caring Key Stage 1 teachers to join their teams and support the learning and development of our youngest learners in Years 1 and 2. Beginning ASAP in February 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and confident to learn.
* Monitor and track pupils’ progress, ensuring all children are supported to achieve their potential.
* Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on pupil progress and offering support where needed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and contribute to the school’s development.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A passion for teaching young children and an understanding of how they learn.
* Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive and proactive approach to classroom management.
* The ability to work effectively within a team as a KS1 Teacher.
* Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 (desirable, but not essential).
