We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Lincoln.
Location: Lincoln, with a mixture of office work, site visits, and working from home.
Hours: 45 hours per week. Some flexibility on hours is available; just let us know when you speak to us.
In this role, you'll work on the Anglian Water IOS contract (integrated operational solutions), which spans multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation, involving new construction, replacement, or repair projects across the Anglian Water region.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Engineer, you'll ensure water projects in the Norfolk area are managed successfully from inception to completion, meeting all standards, regulations, budget, and timeframes. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where you can add value to the business and your career.
Your daily tasks will include:
1. Supporting the operational/project delivery manager in delivering Anglian Water projects.
2. Assessing solutions, conducting root cause analysis, considering whole life costs and business risk reduction.
3. Developing solutions in line with corporate governance, technical and safety standards, and legal requirements.
4. Ensuring all design, programme, cost, and CDM requirements are completed for construction handover.
5. Completing and complying with all site Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
6. Supporting asset and cost management in relevant corporate systems.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you have:
* A degree in engineering or equivalent, and experience as a temporary works coordinator.
* Experience in capital delivery within the water sector, especially with directly employed staff.
* Knowledge of Construction Design Management regulations.
* Excellent customer management skills and experience working with external stakeholders.
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* A full driving licence.
