We are seeking van drivers to join our dynamic team at Driver Hire (Torbay), servicing a broad range of clients across Newton Abbot and South Devon. This role is ideal for individuals seeking either flexible, ad-hoc assignments or stable, long-term employment involving the operation of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. This is not delivering parcels. Location: Opportunities are available in Newton Abbot, South Devon, and nearby areas. Easy commute from Plymouth or Exeter. Salary: Offering competitive wages from £13.06 to £17.12 per hour, with higher pay rates on weekends. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the punctual transport and delivery of goods. Work shifts typically start between 04:00 and 09:00 until all deliveries are completed. Comply with traffic and road safety regulations at all times. Keep in regular contact with the transport team regarding schedules and updates. Qualifications: Essential: Must possess a valid Category B driver's license. Must have a clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (DR, DD, IN). Desirable: Prior experience in multi-drop delivery roles is appreciated but not mandatory.
