Applicants for this permanent role must have a University or Technical Degree in Engineering and be based near to the site in Hereford and have experience with Utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK.
The Role:
* Develop effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members to ensure successful, timely completion of deliverables that support the project goals
* Monitor and oversee mechanical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligations
* Ensures projects are built according to plans created and submitted as well as to their standards
* Cross functional co-ordination with - Engineering, Project management, Logistics, Quality, HSE and all support functions as needed
* Review all contractors' QA plans & procedures and bring all plans into conformance with project requirements, supported by the project team
* Conducts audits of site conditions and equipment installation of subcontractors on the site
* Performs audits of the jobsites to verify accurate completion of scope of work in accordance with the quality plan and HSE plan
* Identifies and communicates all application and installation concerns. Communicates concerns back to site management for required resolution and future issue prevention
