Salary: Grade 5, SCP 10-17 £19,088 - £22,185 (Actual Salary)The Governing Body of St Joseph’s Catholic Comprehensive School & Sixth Form is looking to appoint a responsible, committed and well organised individual to act as a Cover Supervisor (Supporting & Delivering Learning), supervising classes when teachers are absent and to help with other duties as directed. The starting salary is negotiable (within the range above), depending on previous experience.
The role would suit a candidate with initiative who is able to support and manage young people in a classroom environment. This includes registering students and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and materials in the absence of teachers. When cover is not required in school, you will assist the Pastoral Team.
This is an excellent role for someone interested in working in a school environment and who has experience of working with young people. The school has a long-standing track record of providing continuous professional development.
