About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior (Specialist) Pension Reporting Data Analyst to join our dedicated Pensions Team, who deliver comprehensive pension services to clients and pension funds day-in, day-out. The Specialist Reporting Data Analyst will play a leading role in the production and provision of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) data to our clients.
You’ll be a Pension Data expert, conducting rigorous three-way reconciliations on pension returns, addressing any disparities between reported contributions and payroll reports, and in doing so ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and standards, including ISO9001. You’ll also ensure accurate report preparation tailored to various pension fund specifications.
You will act as the primary client liaison for Pension data - promptly addressing queries, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and fostering excellent client relationships. With a continuous improvement mindset, you’ll work collaboratively with other team members to refine data quality, streamline administrative processes, and drive operational efficiency.
What You Can Bring to the Role:
1. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing, with specific experience in, or knowledge of Local Government Pensions (LGPS).
2. Strong numerical skills with sound judgement and meticulous attention to detail.
3. Exceptional customer service and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport with others.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including v-lookup functions.
5. The ability to collaborate effectively in a team, manage multiple projects, and handle competing priorities under pressure.
