Bookkeeper Annual Salary: £35k Location: Andover Job Type: Full-time (1 day work from home) Our client in Andover are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. Day-to-day of the role: Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping including financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information. Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients. Develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant financial software. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
