We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Electrical Engineer (Buildings Services) to join our growing engineering function to work on high profile infrastructure projects in the UK. This position will suit a developing Buildings Services Electrical Engineer with good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to play their part in a dynamic high-performance team. The role will be based in one of our key offices: York, Birmingham, Manchester or Reading with hybrid working model flexibility. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will work with engineers producing design delivery of allocated M&E projects as instructed by the projects Lead M&E Engineer.
Key responsibilities include ensuring designs meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements, completed to timescales agreed with the CRE/Lead Engineer, planning design works to meet agreed timescales, and identifying changes to client requirements and raising these with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
Required experience includes electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure, use of Trimble ProDesign/Electrical OM, Microstation/AutoCAD and/or Relux/Dialux Design Software, qualified to HNC or equivalent, experience of working in Network Rail IP ProjectWise and/or BIM Standards, and good communication and presentation skills.
