The Opportunity
A visionary Marketing Director will join our dynamic global team to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brands, including Ellesse. This global position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think and act strategically across diverse international markets.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product and Brand Officer, you'll lead our passionate and collaborative teams in creating and executing best in class marketing campaigns and activations as well as developing compelling tools to enhance the sell in process, both driving the business towards delivering its commercial targets.
Purpose and Overall Relevance for the Organisation
You will be responsible for strategically planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and activity across all consumer touch points to deliver sustainable and profitable market share growth for Focus Brands portfolio of brands. In addition, the role is responsible for building strong relationships internally with the wider stakeholders, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Commercial Directors and building excellent relationships with the external stakeholders within Focus Brands portfolio of brands and future brands, so together you can achieve winning results globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Strategic Marketing Plans aligned with Brand Priorities and Strategic Commercial Plans that will deliver both brand and business KPIs for D2C (ecom), wholesale accounts, export partners and distributors.
2. Lead and develop teams within your department to collaboratively execute the SMPs across all consumer touch points for key distribution channels: D2C (ecom), Wholesale Accounts, export partners to distributors.
3. Develop GTM sell in plans (from showrooms to sales sell in tools) to enhance the sell in process with rich and meaningful tools that drive a return on investment. From Brand calendars to seasonal priorities this is pivotal within the GTM process.
4. Empower the Creative Team to translate the brand direction from the Design and Product Teams for the brands within Focus Brands portfolio, into compelling and impactful photography for all consumer points.
5. Ensure flawless executions of all Brand and Marketing campaigns and activations, ensuring each campaign and/or project is effectively planned, delivered and evaluated against targets.
