As a BID Manager/Writer, you will be responsible for managing the overall bid process and developing compelling written content for proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and organized individual with exceptional writing skills, with a strong understanding of the bidding process and the fire industry in general.
This role will suit an experienced fire and security bid writer looking to step up and manage the whole tender/bid piece within the business. This role sits beneath the Sales Manager, and you will have sole responsibility over the bid process and strategy. You will be joining a company with 50 years of tenure, who are experts in their field with extensive backing due to the wider business network, who as a collective are successfully operating into Europe.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, including coordinating internal resources, developing timelines, and ensuring compliance with submission requirements.
* Write and edit high-quality content for bids, proposals, and tender responses, ensuring that the written materials are clear, persuasive, and accurately reflect the organization's value proposition.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical teams to gather relevant information and incorporate it into bid responses.
* Conduct research to gather data and insights that support the development of winning bid strategies.
* Review and analyze bid documents to identify key requirements, evaluate competitor offerings, and tailor responses to address client needs.
* Maintain a library of reusable bid content, templates, and case studies to optimize the bid development process.
