JOB TITLE: Audit Analyst – Third Party risk
SALARY: £48,000 - £58,000
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
Group Audit and Conduct Investigations has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Audit Analyst, specialising in Third Party Risk Management, providing you with the opportunity to participate in audits that make a meaningful impact to how the Group outsources and manages its supply chain.
About this opportunity
As an Audit Analyst you will utilise your third-party risk management experience to support in the delivery of high-quality audits. Own the design and operational evaluation and testing of key controls. Apply proficient knowledge and application of audit methodology and assigned risk areas.
You’ll act as a proactive team member, with a growth mindset, positively contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the audit. Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of GA&CI through a strategic and integrated audit focus, collaboration and agile delivery methods.
Day to day, you will:
* Support control testing and can identify areas of concern, articulating the potential challenge.
* Contribute to the audit plan, delivering specified outcomes and providing support by working as directed within the Audit Team.
* Help senior colleagues and build meaningful stakeholder relationships.
* Conduct research considering multiple perspectives and bring the outside in to enable analysis of key themes and external trends.
* Suggest improvements in current compliance processes by being bold.
* Actively role model the Group values and behaviours.
* Proactively identify, address and drive personal development opportunities and create a positive learning culture based on effective coaching.
* Freely sharing insight and timely, direct, effective feedback that contributes to the success of the delivery plan and leaves a positive, sustainable impact on the function.

What you’ll need:
* Practical experience of managing or assessing third party risk management, including supplier onboarding, contracting or the ongoing management of suppliers.
* The ability to deliver risk and control assurance activity that is timely, impactful, insightful and valued by stakeholders.
* The ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect audit delivery and business monitoring insights to such strategies at the Macro level.
* The ability to analyse, understand and communicate data as information, and to use data to drive effective audit outcomes.
* The ability to prioritize your work effectively to ensure timely and value-added delivery.
And any experience of these would be really useful:
* Risk management experience, particularly in relation to third parties.
* Practical experience of auditing supplier onboarding (including due diligence and supplier selection) or ongoing supplier management.
* Awareness and understanding of the key regulatory requirements related to third party risk management in the UK financial sector.
