Location: East of England (Extensive daily travel required)

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm)
Salary: £26,215 - £40,660 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inspection Officer to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and statutory regulations within our Initial and Large Site Accommodations across the East of England. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, accommodation quality, and personnel performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accommodation Inspections & Audits:Conduct regular inspections (at least monthly) of Initial and Large Site Accommodations.Identify and report non-conformances in line with internal policies.Conduct pre-inspections/audits of proposed accommodations for suitability and compliance.Review building compliance documentation (Fire Risk Assessments, Gas/Electric certificates, etc.).
2. Compliance & Documentation:Review subcontractor documentation, risk registers, and service delivery procedures.Track and resolve non-conformances within contractual guidelines.Prepare periodic inspection reports, identifying risks and improvement recommendations.Maintain accurate records and documentation.
3. Service User Support & Welfare:Ensure onsite staff support service users with doctor/school registrations and access to local services.Conduct regular welfare checks and address safeguarding concerns.Monitor and ensure adherence to move-on processes.Ensure onsite staff are aware and implement the necessary process to maintain service users' health and safety at all times.
4. Stakeholder Liaison:Collaborate with accommodation staff, UKVI, and other stakeholders.Facilitate and attend inspections/audits by UKVI and statutory bodies.Respond to queries from UKVI and other stakeholders.
5. Team Collaboration & Development:Work closely with the Senior Inspector and team members.Provide on-the-job training and support to colleagues.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
6. Experience in conducting inspections or audits.
7. Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
8. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
11. Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
