We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing company as Training Assistant.
Salary for this role will be £28,160 per annum and you will be required to travel and support our homes in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Burbage, and Redditch.
As Training Assistant, you will support the Training Manager in delivering a comprehensive training offering aligned with our business objectives. This will include delivering face-to-face training, observations in the homes, and coaching team members.
This role will include extensive travel to our seven sites; therefore, a driving license and own vehicle are essential for this role.
Offering strong administrative support, you will enhance employee skills, improve performance, increase productivity, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the business.
Duties will include:
* Coordinate the day-to-day administration and logistics of the scheduled face-to-face and eLearning training courses.
* Support the delivery of training courses, both face-to-face and online.
* Monitor training levels and needs across the Homes and Home Support Centre.
* Schedule and plan all training in collaboration with the Training Manager.
* Coordinate and monitor QCF Qualifications (NVQs) and apprenticeships.
* Support the scheduling and organisation of team members’ inductions.
* Support the Training Manager with the delivery of training and development programs across the business.
* Gather feedback from the Training Manager and trainees after each educational session.
* Maintain an updated database and training records.
* Ensure that statutory training requirements are met.
* Complete training needs analysis for all roles, develop and implement training plans, deliver training sessions, and record and monitor training levels.
* Work closely with the Training Manager, Home Managers, and Heads of Department to ensure all new team members are fully supported in their first 3 months of employment.

What we are looking for:
Previous experience in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential.
Strong administrative skills and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods are desirable (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
Proficiency with various software tools and learning management systems (LMS). Additionally, familiarity with productivity tools like Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with admin experience, good organisational skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, flexibility, and versatility in the role.
