What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Clinical Effectiveness and Regulatory Lead to join our Safety, Quality and Patient Experience Team.
This is a full-time role with the following shift patterns: Between Monday - Friday, during the hours of 09:00-17:00.

You will help drive the clinical effectiveness agenda across CCL. This role will support clinical services to understand their clinical effectiveness and to identify areas for improvement by ensuring information from sources including clinical audits, clinical outcomes and quality and effectiveness indicators, is available and understood. Additionally, you will provide recommendations to changes to CCL's procedures and process to reflect changes in regulatory standards (NICE), and will support the Director for Safety, Quality & Patient Experience and the Quality, Safety & Patient Experience team, ensuring organisational-wide regulatory compliance and risk management is maintained.
What will your duties include?
1. Coordinates efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions.
2. Develops and implements local monitoring systems to ensure compliance with national standards.
3. Identifies relevant regulatory guidance documents, national and international standards.
4. Maintains current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents.
5. Obtains and distributes updated information regarding national or international laws, guidelines, or standards.
6. Supports the identification of gaps in the evidence base and assists services to monitor outcomes through audit, evaluation and data in order to generate further evidence.
7. Encourages service-level 'action orientated' research, such as clinical audit and service evaluation, as an effective way for services to increase their evidence-base and to develop learning and improve outcomes.
8. Embeds systems for assessment and monitoring that demonstrate services are following the best available evidence and guidelines.
9. Manages and serves as point of contact for the Policy Management System.
10. Other duties as assigned.
What we need from you?
1. Experience of managing an organisational Audit programme, focused on internal audit and review of process, procedure, pathways and outcomes.
2. Audit training or similar audit exposure in an internal audit function desirable.
3. Healthcare and governance experience.
4. Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion essential.
5. Continuous Improvement training.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of quality tools, lean foundation elements and change management.
