Fixed term until 31 March 2026 (secondment cover)
£50,492.00 - £63,254.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Based in Edinburgh with some Hybrid Working

Our HR Business Partner role is a senior member of the HR Leadership team and partners senior leadership teams of an aligned portfolio of Link companies and functions. The primary portfolio for this role is LinkLiving Limited and Link Group Limited corporate services. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage a team of two HR Advisors and work collaboratively with the wider HR teams to deliver high quality services. This role is varied, requires a flexible approach and leads on workstreams including TUPE and organisational/service changes, board reporting, employee relations, policy development, collective bargaining, union consultation, job evaluation and terms and conditions of employment.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to hit the ground running providing secondment cover for a minimum period of up to the 31 March 2026. The position is based in Edinburgh, with some occasional travel required across the Central Belt of Scotland to Link’s services and offices.
About You
As an experienced HR Business Partner, you will be commercially focussed and have experience of business partnering and working with senior leaders and management teams to create positive business outcomes in a unionised environment. You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced organisation, ideally in the health and social care sector, with knowledge of appropriate regulatory bodies e.g. Disclosure Scotland, Care Inspectorate and Scottish Social Services Council.
It is essential that you can evidence your technical HR knowledge and skills especially in relation to employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment, policy creation, employee relations and leading and implementing projects. We are looking for a proactive, resilient and engaging leader with the ability to build strong relationships with and influence stakeholders at all levels. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
