Working straight days (Monday to Friday) with flexibility for occasional weekend cover, you'll manage a skilled maintenance team, boost reliability, and keep our high-performing plant running at its best.
What You'll Do
1. Lead and motivate a team of 6-8 craft professionals across planned and reactive maintenance.
2. Foster a safety-first culture—conduct toolbox talks, enforce compliance, and lead by example.
3. Improve plant uptime and reliability through smart planning and continuous improvement.
4. Own your team's performance, training, and development.
5. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep everything moving efficiently.
6. Support your own career growth by stepping into a leadership role with serious future potential.
What You Bring
1. A strong practical engineering background (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship desirable).
2. Experience in continuous manufacturing or production environments.
3. Leadership ability—you inspire, coach, and hold your team accountable.
4. A safety-led mindset and a knack for fault finding and process improvement.
5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
