Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Smart Meter Engineer to join their team on the South Coast. This permanent position involves installing dual fuel smart meters in domestic residential properties and ensuring top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing smart meter installations to domestic properties
2. Managing own stock levels on van and/or via 'dropbox' facilities
3. Delivering first-class customer service and support
4. Offering customers energy efficiency advice
5. Ensuring all worksheet submissions are accurate and timely
6. Collaborating with the Smart Metering Operations Manager to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly targets
7. Planning, organising, and managing own workload to meet company deadlines
8. Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently
9. Performing any other duties deemed appropriate to this role
10. A certain level of flexibility will be required regarding job role and responsibilities to fulfil this position.
Job Requirements:
1. Excellent organisational skills
2. Previous dual fuel metering experience
3. Certifications required:
* Electrical: MOCOPA or EUSR
* Gas: MET1 and either CMA1 or CCN1
1. Experience of exceeding targets
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. IT literate
