About the role We are seeking an experienced gymnastics teacher, to join us on a freelance basis at our Essex Campus, with the opportunity for two days teaching with an immediate start. A graduate or postgraduate qualification is advantageous but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting and developing students’ gymnastics skills delivering high-quality education to our students. What You’ll do: • Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive classes in gymnastics. • Provide scaffolded learning for students with mixed abilities/starting points. • Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training to students. • Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback. • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate these into the curriculum. • Mentor and support students, fostering their professional growth. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the class content. What You’ll bring: • A qualification in gymnastics is preferred. • Significant industry experience. • Previous teaching experience at the higher education level is preferred, working with dance and musical theatre students • Strong communication and organisational skills. • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
