As a Marketing Manager at HC-One, you will lead the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing plans and campaigns which engage our target audiences at a local level to promote awareness, generate enquiries and drive occupancy across a portfolio of over 160 residential care homes in the North West, North East and Scotland.
You will collaborate with other marketing and commercial specialists in the wider commercial team as well as colleagues in external affairs and operations, to deliver high impact marketing campaigns.
Experience of working agency side or marketing multi-site experience-based services like healthcare, hospitality or travel is desirable. You will have strong commercial acumen and understand how to build and track ROI from marketing activity. You will also have experience of using insight and data to support decision making, optimising digital marketing channels and leading marketing projects in large complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team to develop and lead integrated marketing strategies and plans that support reputation building, enquiry generation, and sales initiatives.
Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing plans tailored to local and regional sales initiatives, campaigns, and launches.
Ensure marketing activity, campaigns, and sales initiatives are developed in alignment with regional and local Operations teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Commercial and External Affairs teams to:
Set clear marketing objectives for campaigns and initiatives.
Track, evaluate, and report on their impact and effectiveness.
Continuously review and evolve marketing and communications plans to align with local commercial goals.
Promote the support available from marketing and drive local engagement with initiatives and campaigns.
Collaborate with colleagues in design, digital, and brand marketing teams to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery of marketing and communications strategies.
Insights & Continuous Improvement
Use insights from marketing effectiveness data, customer behaviour, competitor analysis, and audience understanding to:
Share best practices across the team.
Inform the development of future campaigns and initiatives.
Brand & Messaging Consistency
Ensure all marketing communications are consistent across all channels and align with the organisation’s Purpose in Action and Caring with Kindness positioning.
Ensure all activity complies with relevant regulatory and legislative standards (e.g. GDPR, CMA).
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, coach, and develop a small but impactful marketing team to deliver against strategic priorities and objectives.

Qualifications & Knowledge
BA/BSc/MBA (or equivalent) in Marketing, Media, Communications, or Business.
Minimum Grade 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English.
Skills & Experience
6–8 years’ proven experience in marketing and communications.
Strong background in developing and delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI.
Experience leading and coaching a small team to success.
Skilled in using data, market insights, and competitor analysis to shape strategy.
Confident with campaign management tools, dashboards, and digital marketing platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid understanding of the full marketing mix and lead generation strategies.
Familiarity with data analytics platforms (a bonus, not essential).
