Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
The successful candidate will work as part of the Ward C3 team in Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda, to provide nursing support to adults with rehabilitation needs, enhanced care needs, and to support complex discharge planning.
We are looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable individuals who have a desire to care for adults in the community hospital setting. Within this role, you will be part of the team caring for patients.

Main duties of the job
Do you have a passion for community nursing and are looking to develop your knowledge and skills within this field? If so, we currently have a Band 2 vacancy within our Community Hospitals in CTMUHB.
The team of qualified nurses and health care support workers provide nursing support to adults with rehabilitation needs and support complex discharge planning, ensuring that patients are discharged to the most appropriate destination.
The post holder will be part of an integrated team. You will be supported in your role by the registered nurses, Ward Manager, and Deputy Ward Manager.
This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months due to secondment cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualification
* Good standard of general education including numeracy and literacy skills
* To hold QCF Level 2 qualifications in Health & Social Care/Clinical Health Care
Skills
* Ability to demonstrate effective verbal communication skills with patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team alike
* Ability to demonstrate effective non-verbal communication skills, i.e., effective listening skills and positive body language.
* Ability to demonstrate acceptable written skills for the production of patient reports.
Experience
* Experience in team working
* Previous experience caring for people
* Experience of working in a hospital environment
